Mobile sauna rental · Vancouver & the Lower Mainland
Your place. Your pace. Your sauna.
Kyst is a private sauna on wheels.
The idea
Kyst means coast.
In Danish and Norwegian, kyst means coast - the edge where land meets water. It's a name inspired by the natural beauty of the West Coast and the slower pace of life outdoors.
That same spirit shapes Kyst: a private sauna experience that fits into your life, your surroundings, and your schedule.
More about KystPropane heat
Propane-powered heat that goes where you go.
- No outlet needed
- Propane heat doesn't depend on a power hookup at your site, so the sauna can go where an electric sauna can't.
- No firewood, no smoke
- There's no wood to haul or fire to tend, and no smoke or ash drifting across your yard or your neighbours'.
- Quick, steady warmth
- Propane warms the sauna quickly and holds an even heat, so you spend less time waiting and more time relaxing.

How is the sauna heated?
Kyst is a propane sauna. There’s no firewood to haul or fire to tend, no smoke or ash, and it doesn’t need an electrical hookup at your location, which is what lets it go almost anywhere.
It takes about 60 minutes to fully heat up.
How long does the propane last?
One 60 lb tank gives up to 20 hours of heat running constantly, or about 10 to 12 sessions of 1.5 hours. The sauna takes about 60 minutes to fully heat up, and the heater only needs to run while you’re using it.
Every rental includes propane: 1 tank with 24 Hours, and more with longer rentals. Each option shows exactly how many tanks are included.
Is the sauna private?
Yes. Kyst is a single mobile sauna that you book for private use. It’s yours (and your guests’) for the length of your rental.
How many people fit in the sauna?
Up to 7 people at a time. The benches are on two levels: sit up high for more heat, or lower down for something gentler.
What’s included?
Every rental comes with delivery and pick-up, a 60 lb propane tank (more with longer rentals), and: sauna bucket and ladle, thermostat, 5 gal (19 L) of sauna water, 10 gal (38 L) of shower water, portable change room, 6 sq ft of shelving, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
On request (just ask when you book): towels, electrolytes, camp chairs, 100 ft (30 m) extension cord, a sauna host for events.
